The Event 2018

The Gold Coast has been enjoying a resurgence in the real estate market over the past 12 months and in the lead up to the Commonwealth Games we don’t expect these trends to slow down. Property values are up approximately 15% on the same time last year.

We have seen a significant increase in the number of buyers out in the marketplace and as seen right throughout the country, auctions are driving prices significantly higher through the competition amongst these increased buyers.

It is expected that the next movement in interest rates will be upwards and that may well be sooner rather than later. It is a timely reminder that it is always wise to select the best market conditions to sell.

For those thinking about selling, the market conditions are very favourable. There is a significant jump in buyer activity around the summer season and January in particular. This is why for more than 26 years we have provided a high profile marketing campaign called ‘The Event’ to capitalise on this activity and to take advantage of the school holiday break when so many interstate and international tourists flock to the Gold Coast.

For anyone thinking of selling at the moment, I think both in terms of the timing in our economic cycle and with the seasonal factors, this would be an ideal opportunity. Contact Peter Catanzariti today to find out how you can be a part of this iconic real estate event.
